Our website uses Cookies, as almost all websites do, to help provide you with the best experience we can.

What we collect, and why

If you donate: your name, email address, the amount, the fund you chose and anything you type in the message or phone fields. Card details are entered on Stripe's own payment page and never reach the temple. We keep donation records for the temple's tax filings and to issue your receipts, including the January year-end acknowledgment required for annual giving of $250 or more.

If you create a devotee account: your name, email address or phone number, and anything you add to your profile, such as gotram, nakshatram, address and family members. Signing in uses a one-time code, so there is no password. Deleting your account removes it and unlinks your giving history; the donation records themselves are kept for the temple's tax filings.

Everyone who visits: an anonymous visit count, described below.

Who else sees it: Supabase (our database and email sign-in), Stripe (card payments), Resend (receipt emails), Firebase (website hosting), and PayPal only if we enable it. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

What are Cookies?

We may collect data that personally identifies you. This data is collected only when you voluntarily provide it to us. We do not sell this data to any 3rd party.
